EM PROFILING OF TUBE-TYPE ANOMALIES BY A TRANSIENT ELECTROMAGNETIC METHOD

In order to improve drilling of test holes in magnetite-containing objects of deep occurrence, it is proposed to use electrical exploration by transient electromagnetic method with two opposing receiving gauges used. The paper presents the calculated E.M.C. signals for tube-type magnetized objects and describes the procedure of the transient electromagnetic method application in ore-bearing zones occurring under unfavourable geological conditions.
