The methods of modelling a physical and geological section based on a complex of geophysical fields

The paper introduces a concept of a physical and geological body as a disturbing object which physical properties are functionally related to each other. This allows in principle analytical expressions relating a complex of fields to be found out. The methods of a complex interpretation of geophysical fields was developed as a procedure of joint analysis of several fields and geological data, which results in revealing disturbing bodies having specific physical and geological meaning common for a complex of fields. Complex models involving seismic-gravity, electrical-gravity, gravity-magnetic and geological-geophysical ones have been considered. Examples and suggestions for simultaneous simulation of several geophysical fields are presented. A computer system for constructing a physical-geological section based on a complex of geophysical fields is suggested.
